Face to Face at Leeds Hypnotherapy Office
If you are looking to join me at the Leeds hypnotherapy office then the first step is to have your consultation. This is normally done by phone to get a background of what has been happening. If you would prefer to meet in person before committing to your hypnotherapy for food phobia sessions then this can be arranged for you.
Most people are happy to speak by phone first, whereas, some people prefer to see me in person first. You get to choose which is best for you. We will look at your history with food including any eating disorders you may currently have or previously had.
After your initial consultation, we will meet for your session. Most people only need one session of hypnotherapy for food phobia. This session lasts around 90 minutes. After this session, we will arrange a call to check up on how quickly you are progressing.
Skype Hypnosis Session
If you are wishing to have a Skype hypnotherapy for food phobia session, your consultation will be through Skype. This gives us a chance to not only carry out your consultation. It gives us a chance to make sure that our audio, video and internet settings are correct and the connection works well.

Preparing for Your Hypnotherapy for Food Phobia Session
Whether you are coming to the Leeds hypnotherapy office, or you are having an online session, you need to make some preparations.
You need to have some fruit and/or vegetables available to try. We are going to work with these and test throughout the session. I recommend bringing up to 3 different things to try. The aim is to work through all of these during the session so that by the end you are able to eat them.
Of course this depends on how much internal resistance you have. Some clients have a lot of resistance and only get to eat one whereas most will try all three.
At the beginning of the session we will do some relaxation work to open your subconscious mind up and do the work. We will continue to work on the first thing you choose to try before moving on to the next one.
